ShaktiMart is a hyperlocal grocery and daily-use product delivery service. We do not manufacture or own any products — we only deliver products within your local area.

Disclaimer: Any product names, brands, and images in the app are the property of their respective owners. We are solely a delivery service — we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any brand.

What Data We Collect

We only collect the minimum data necessary to run the service:

This data is collected when you create an account or place an order. All data is stored on our secure servers.

How We Use Your Data

To create and manage your account
To process and deliver your orders
To send order confirmations and updates (email/push notification)

To track app performance (app interactions, searches)
To maintain basic records for service improvement

Payments

We currently only support Cash on Delivery (COD).

We do not collect or store any payment details — no card numbers, no UPI IDs, no bank details. Because we use COD, no financial data ever reaches our servers.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any of your personal data with any third party.

There is one exception — Push Notifications: We use OneSignal (a push notification service). Your device ID / push token is sent to OneSignal's servers solely to deliver notifications. OneSignal's own privacy policy applies.

All other personal information (name, email, phone, address, orders) is used strictly within our own system and is not shared with anyone else.

Data Security

Your data is stored on secure servers
All data transfers occur via HTTPS (encrypted connection)
Passwords are hashed and securely stored
No payment information is stored

We take appropriate security measures, but no online system is 100% secure.

Your Rights & Data Deletion

You can do the following from your profile page:

Update your profile — you can change your name, phone, and address at any time
Delete data — you can clear order history and cart; your account will remain active
Delete account — you can permanently delete your entire account and all associated data

Push Notifications

We use the OneSignal service to send you order updates and important notifications. For this, your device's push token is stored on OneSignal's servers.

You can turn off notifications at any time from your phone's settings. This will not affect your use of our services.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Policy Changes

If we make any significant changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
